Fashi Global Academy was born from the journey of our founder, Tom 冯建伟 (Feng Jianwei). At university, his English was weak, and whenever he was asked a question, his reply was always, ‘Sorry, I don’t know.’ Soon, his nickname became Sorry. What could have been a setback became the seed of a dream.

Tom thought: What if there could be a school where learning English was not scary, but joyful? A place where students feel confident, supported, and proud of their progress?

When he shared the idea, people asked:
❓ “Do you know English?”
❓ “Do you have teachers?”
❓ “Do you have a platform?”

To each one, Tom’s answer was no. But instead of giving up, he chose persistence. In 2017, Tom took his first step and started a TEFL teaching academy. Over time, he built a team of more than 30 teachers, helping students grow in confidence and improve their English. The academy was successful — but Tom’s vision did not stop there. He wanted to do more.

He wanted to create something that could:

– Help children who need extra academic support
– Give individuals the opportunity to learn how to teach
– Create real experience, not just theory
– Make education more accessible, even for those with limited resources

This is how Fashi Global Academy began. Today, Fashi is more than just an academy. It is a place where:

– Students can learn and grow
– Tutors can develop real skills through training and experience
– Children can receive free learning support in a structured environment

At the heart of Fashi is a simple belief:

One of the most important parts of Fashi Global Academy is Chinese language education. For Tom, this is deeply personal. He has a strong love for his country and its culture, and he is passionate about sharing the Chinese language with the world.

Through Chinese classes, students are given the opportunity to:

– Access opportunities such as studying in China or working with Chinese companies
– Learn a global language
– Connect with Chinese culture

His life motto has carried him through every challenge:
